The importance of modern military uniform
Since a long time ago, military uniforms have served, in broad strokes, to better protect the troops and identify the soldiers, either by their side or by their rank. That’s characteristics that can remind greek, roman or Persian armies, as well as chevaliers of middle age or any more ancient civilization like Mesopotamians.
However, as time went by and military tactical technology evolved over the course, military uniforms and suits changed their style and comfort to help soldiers to be more prepared for any environment.
The modern military uniform has more technology than any type of armor that was used more than 300 years ago. For example, moderns military uniforms have, only in the helmet, security cameras which can have two functions as minimum: the first is to be able to record everything that happens in front of the soldier, an intelligence group can monitor the movements of the troops and be able to alert in case of a latent danger, thus directing the soldiers.
The garments of these times are lighter and more resistant due to the materials that are used today, which provides greater protection to military elements and greater mobility due to the physical activity they perform regularly.
Comfort has become a common denominator of military uniforms today, as well as the technological aspects that surround them, including the camouflage factor that was already used 100 years ago and that has stopped being used, the environment is not important.
To sum up, through the diversity of fabrics that have been created and the different methods of manufacturing uniforms, they give priority to the troops being more comfortable and able to fight, walk, run and perform any activity in the best way on any terrain, regardless of whether the soldiers are in the desert, in wooded places or tundra.
